is to:

regard to organizing, training, resolution of
jurisdictional questions, and other issues central to
the well being of continued viability of the mechanical
crafts
- Maintain craft unionism with common sense
cooperative job practices that improve quality,
productivity, and job harmony
- Principals of a fair day of work for a fair day of
pay and earned benefits
- Doing the Job right the first time
- quality work that earns the approval of our
contractor and the owner/client
- Maintaining a level of productivity that brings the
job in on schedule, or ahead of schedule, and within
budget
- Safety and strive for zero accident jobs
- Organizing industry-wide, area-wide, and local
tripartite coalitions and conferences. Through
such coalitions and conferences, the MAC seeks to
improve our industry and provide better service to the
ultimate customer: the owner/client.
Tripartite conferences shall include MAC affiliates, MAC
contractors, and the owner/client customers we all work
for and are committed to satisfy through superior job
performance. We believe this commitment to
tripartite action will serve the interests of our
members, who are the only reason for our existence.
